Kambo Practitioner, US Navy VeteranTucker Parris is a U.S. Navy veteran and former search and rescue swimmer who sustained severe injuries—including a broken back, neck, and traumatic brain injury—during his service. After years of struggling with chronic pain and relying on prescription medications, Tucker found profound healing through Kambo in 2021. His first session marked a turning point, allowing him to break free from pharmaceuticals and begin a new chapter rooted in earth medicine. Inspired by his transformation, Tucker trained as a Kambo practitioner in July 2025 and now dedicates his practice to supporting veterans and underserved communities in their own healing journeys. His focus is on chronic pain, trauma, and reconnecting with natural medicine as a path to wellness.

Founder of Jungle CulturaAnnelene, a physiotherapist from Venezuela, moved to Canada in 2015 and immersed herself in the cannabis industry. Motivated by a quest for personal growth and aligning with her life's purpose in education, travel, and the enhancing of quality of all life. She has explored multiple psychedelics, through many travels to the Amazon Jungle, Europe, Latin America and Asia. She has participated in sacred medicine journeys and shamanic studies, gaining profound insights along the way. Annelene has been honored with two medicine names: Soi Biri by the Shipibo, and Pemà by the Matsés, reflecting her deep connection with these traditions and the wisdom she carries forward. She has been invited to speaking engagements at notable venues such as the United Nations, Boom Festival, and Native Child and Family Services of Toronto, with her contributions at the festival published in the book Humans of Boom. Her advocacy includes teachings about harm reduction for psychedelics, heart-opening practices, inclusivity, and the deconstruction of societal norms, drawing from ancient and shamanic traditions as well as science.

Kambo Frog DetoxNeal Henegar is a master Kambo practitioner, teacher, and founder of Kambo Frog Detox—a pioneering training school that bridges indigenous wisdom with modern science and somatic healing. His direct experience with Kambo in the Amazon compelled him to integrate his medical background into a world-centric framework for healing, ultimately giving rise to the Five Lens System—a comprehensive and adaptive method of Kambo application designed to meet the diverse physiological and energetic needs of each client. With over a decade of ceremonial experience, Neal has trained and mentored more than one hundred practitioners, including a growing network of medical doctors, surgeons, nurses, and nurse practitioners, who now weave Kambo into their clinical and integrative wellness practices. Kambo Frog Detox is recognized for its expanded curriculum, physiological precision, and deep reverence for the sacred origins of the medicine. Neal also stewards the creation of a permaculture-based temple in the Amazon, where sacred land restoration, indigenous collaboration, and planetary healing converge. Whether guiding new students or seasoned clinicians, he brings a grounded, heart-led presence to every layer of the work. His mission is to restore right relationship with nature, body, and spirit—offering Kambo as a vital ally in this age of transformation and awakening.

With nearly a decade of immersion in Earth-based medicine traditions, Anura’s path is anchored in lived experience and guided by a deep commitment to authenticity, originality, and integrity. Her work bridges Western education with indigenous tradition, shaped through direct study with the Matses and Yawanawa peoples and the late Jhonny Java. Her approach to Kambo is rooted in heart-centered feminine leadership, ecological responsibility, cultural respect and harm reduction. As a facilitator, educator, and speaker, she advocates for ethical practice, reciprocity with the natural world, and community accountability in the rapidly evolving field of plant and amphibian medicines. Through her work, Anura is helping shape a future where sacred traditions are honored, medicine is respected, service is a path of initiation and deep calling, and healing takes place in right relationship. After 15 years of nomadic study, pilgrimage, and exploration of cultures across the globe, she returned home to Richmond, VA where she now serves her local community at River City Kambo, weaving the sacred into the soil that raised her.

With a background in holistic nutrition, herbalism, massage therapy, and yoga, Kristina specializes in supporting women through every stage of their journey—from preconception and fertility to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. Her approach is rooted in reconnecting with nature, ancestral rhythms, and the body’s innate wisdom. Kristina brings a unique perspective to the Kambo world, having used the medicine as a trusted ally throughout her own conception and postpartum experience. She has supported countless women in using Kambo to reset hormonal health, detox from pharmaceuticals, reconnect with their cycles, and release emotional imprints held in the womb. As a teacher and ceremonial guide, Kristina helps bridge clinical understanding with spiritual integration, training practitioners to safely and respectfully support women’s bodies through this sacred medicine. She is also the author of Kambo and breastfeeding: A Gentle Approach for Practitioners and New Mothers, a first-of-its-kind guide in the field. At Kambocon, Kristina is honored to share her insights on the intersection of Kambo and women’s health, and how this medicine can help women reclaim sovereignty over their healing, fertility, and embodiment.

Practitioner at Rainbow Heart KamboJohnnie Heider-Kuhn took his first steps in the Wasatch Range of the Rockies, forging a deep love of Nature and a thirst for adventure. With a BA in Psychology and Fine Art, he later studied Clinical Herbalism and Holistic Nutrition in Boulder, CO. His path led him to teach at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and work with both established and emerging botanical wellness companies. He specializes in herbal formulation, advanced plant extraction, and managing autoimmune conditions with diet. In 2021, a powerful encounter with Kambô initiated a new chapter in his life, followed by a journey to the Peruvian Amazon to study with the late Maestro Jhonny Javá (Kichwa) and Matsés elders. Johnnie now serves Kambô across Colorado’s Front Range and is launching a sustainable apparel brand that supports Amazon conservation and 2SLGBTQIA+ artists. A student of yoga and breath work for 18 years, he’s passionate about plants, healing, and meaningful connection—especially over coffee, in nature, or while cooking with his husband.

Founder of Kambo Practitioner AllianceLewis Powell is the founder of the Kambo Practitioner Alliance (KPA) and a Master Kambo Practitioner with 11 years of experience working with this medicine. He has sat with and learned from multiple Amazonian tribes, including the Matsés, and has completed many master plant diets over the past decade. Lewis was given permission by Matsés elders to study their way of life and learn directly about their traditional use of Dow-Kiet (Kambo), and continues to support their community through fundraising and cultural preservation. He’s personally treated thousands of clients and trained hundreds of practitioners, with a strong focus on safety, integrity, and cultural respect. Back home in Liverpool, UK, Lewis runs several grassroots community projects, including mental health and suicide prevention work. His approach is about keeping the work real, rooted, and in service — to the people, the practice, and the culture it came from.
