Nasal Kambo Application Workshop

Nasal Kambó Ceremony with Annelene Sillet

Date & Time: Monday, March 23rd | 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: TBA

Step into one of the most ancient and least-understood ways of working with the sacred secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor tree frog. In this special offering, Annelene Sillet will guide participants through a Nasal Kambó ceremony — a traditional method that predates the modern burn technique and is still preserved through oral transmission in the Matsés villages of Peru.

Passed down through the lineage of Maestro Dunu of Ibama, this method of Kambó application utilizes the nasal passageways, offering a powerful yet gentle alternative for receiving the medicine. The Nasal Kambó technique allows for deep energetic and physical cleansing while honoring the ancestral ways in which this medicine was originally shared and revered.

Whether you are a curious seeker or a seasoned facilitator wishing to broaden your understanding of traditional Amazonian practices, this ceremony is a rare opportunity to engage with Kambó through a lineage-rooted, non-invasive lens.

What to Bring:

  • 1 full gallon of spring water (no alkaline water)

  • A refillable water bottle

  • A change of clothes (in case of purging or sweating)

  • A towel or cloth for comfort during the ceremony

Important:

  • Participants must complete a medical screening form prior to attending. This ensures the safety and appropriateness of the medicine for each individual.

Come with humility, curiosity, and a readiness to experience the spirit of Kambó through one of its most ancient gateways — the breath.
