Traditional Kambo with Matsés Elder Daniel Manquín Jiménez
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Friday, March 20th.
Location: Private residence in Clairemont/La jolla- 2 miles from venue.

Experience the ancient healing tradition of Kambo as it has been passed down for generations among the Matsés people of the Peruvian Amazon. This sacred educational event will be led by Daniel Manquín Jiménez, a highly respected elder and wisdom keeper from the Matsés lineage.

Participants will receive Kambo in its traditional form, preceded by the use of Nunu, a powerful plant-based snuff made from jungle tobacco and other sacred plants. Nunu is used to clear the mind, activate the energetic body, and prepare the system to receive the frog medicine with greater clarity and alignment.

Daniel brings with him not only his lineage with Kambo but the spirit of his people and the jungle itself. His ceremonial presence offers a rare and humbling opportunity to sit with the medicine as it is held in its original cultural lineage — a way that honors both the spirit of the frog and the ancestral knowledge of its human stewards.

What to Expect:

• Traditional Nunu administration to open the body and mind

• Kambo application

• Safely guided ceremony with screening  and safety protocols.

• Time for integration and grounding

What to Bring:

• 2 liters of spring water (no alkaline water)

• A personal water bottle

• A change of clothes (in case of purging or sweating)

• A towel or cloth for comfort during the ceremony

• Participants must complete a medical screening form before attending. This ensures the safety and appropriateness of the medicine for each individual.
