Daniel Manquid Jimenez is a Matses by heritage and chief of the Ibama native community outside of Iquitos, Peru. He has a passion for supporting his family village and working with the modern world to keep indigenous traditions alive. He shares about his personal and ancestral experience with Kambo medicine and is working to create the first legitimate frog reserve recognized by the government of Peru. His voice is a valuable force of the jungle to represent Amazonian indigenous groups and contribute to preserving the traditional knowledge of Acate (Kambo).
